finish.
Leffe Blonde Abbey Ale 6.6%
A classic from the Abbaye Notre-Dame de Leffe.
Served in a chalice-shaped glass, Leffe Blonde presents a sustained
head atop an amber-colored malt base; good carbonation results in
a viscous mouthfeel and a resilient finish.
BelleVue Kriek Lambic 5.2%
Kriek,
pronounced "creek," is Flemish for black cherry, though
through general usage it has come to mean cherry.
A dry
and fruity, medium-bodied Lambic with rich cherry flavours and striking
ruby-red hues; Kriek's creamy pinkish head gives off a spritzy effervescence
producing a crisp mouth feel.
The Lambic is
matured in oak port barrels for two to three years and then blended
to ensure consistency in the end product. Ripened cherries are then
added to an old Lambic, creating a cherry Lambic which is then matured
for a further nine months to three years.
